275 hours of staff time saved
Lower bid pricing due to
increased competitiveness
Program executed on schedule.
Using our P&A-specific software tools, we accelerated the design process and permit approvals. Concurrently, TAQ provided detailed bid analysis and vendor recommendations to the client. TAQ generated unique, design-specific cost estimates and AFEs for each of the 93 wells and established a full-program budget and timeline.
1. Level Loading: TAQ completed a large volume of work in a short timeframe, preventing the operator from pulling staff off other projects.
2. Competitive Bid & Vendor Evaluation: TAQ collected proposals from vendors familiar to the operator and brought in new vendor options, creating a more competitive bid process.
3. Well specific cost estimates & budget: Using our P&A design, cost estimation and planning tools, we built well-specific AFEs which increased accuracy of the full program budget and timeline.
“TAQ Energy provided exemplary service helping our company prepare for a multi- state, 93 well P&A program. They wrote detailed procedures, worked with regulatory entities to ensure compliance, provided in-depth analysis of bids, projected accurate well by well cost estimates, and delivered any additional requested information in a prompt manner. Due to TAQ’s P&A knowledge, along with the upfront time and effort they expended, the current year’s program has been a success. I recommend TAQ to any organization looking for aid in their P&A programs.”
